Bathroom Renovations in Hawke's Bay
From a light refresh to a full renovation, we can run the whole job or do the plumbing for your team. It starts with a free site visit from Jacob.
What we do
Bathroom renovations of every size
For a renovation it often pays to start with the plumber. We can run the whole job, organising the builder, waterproofing and tiling through trades Jacob has worked with for a long time and supplying the fixtures, or do the plumbing as part of your own team, whichever suits you.
Building consent: if what you're planning would need it, like adding fixtures or putting in a tiled shower, we'll give you a heads-up at the site visit.
Why a plumber first
Why start your bathroom renovation with a plumber
Trade knowledge for your design
Plumbers work in bathrooms every day: lots of layouts and fixture types, small rooms and big ones, across price brackets. Brought in from the start, we can help with the design, spot things you hadn't thought of and help you avoid choices you'd regret later.
We see the whole job
Plumbers are the first trade in and the last out, so we see the full scope of a renovation from start to finish.
Gear that lasts
We know what works and what doesn't, and we recommend gear we know is reliable. It costs a little more up front, and it doesn't need ripping out a few years later.
Jaeydn does most of our bathroom renovation work, and Jacob looks after the larger projects. Meet the team.

A recent bathroom renovation
Bathroom and ensuite renovation in Taradale, Napier
A full renovation of the main bathroom and the ensuite in an existing house. The homeowner ran it in stages, with us doing the plumbing. We disconnected everything, repiped the whole house with new water pipes, and swapped the old low-pressure indoor cylinder for an outdoor mains-pressure one.
- Main bathroom
- The old shower over the tub became a modern shower, with a new toilet; the vanity moved
- Ensuite
- New shower, vanity in a new spot, toilet repiped in place
- Also
- Tiled floors, a new laundry tub and the kitchen plumbing
- On site
- 1 to 3 days a stage, and the plumbing was never the hold-up
- Team
- Jacob and Jaeydn, with Rei helping
Drop sheets over the new carpet, shoes off at the door, and we checked with the homeowner on any question and before coming or going. There have been no callbacks since.

Before you call
Bathroom renovation questions
Do I call a plumber or a builder first?
You can come straight to us. If you need a builder, tiler or painter, we'll recommend one we work with.
How long does a bathroom renovation take?
A full bathroom usually takes 3 to 6 weeks, depending on the scope. If you're only changing a couple of fixtures, allow 2 to 3 weeks once the parts are chosen and ordered.
Do I need building consent for a bathroom renovation?
Usually not, if you keep the same number of plumbing fixtures. Adding or removing fixtures can need consent, and a tiled shower usually does, because it needs a waterproof membrane.
Can I move my vanity, toilet or shower?
Yes. Moving one means running pipes to the new spot, and it's often how a room gets a better layout.
